Our Adoption Process

 Adopt A Rescued Friend, Inc. utilizes an application and interview process that allows us to ensure that the dog chosen is a good match for the adopting family.  There is a contract to be completed and follow up(s) with the adopting family (phone call, email, or home visit). Depending on dog and/or breed there is a possible home inspection prior to approval.

We have an online application under "Forms/Applications". After your application has been reviewed, the foster will contact you when your application has been approved or to request any further information they might need. They will also answer any questions that you might have. All of our directors, officers and fosters are unpaid volunteers with busy schedules but we try to get back to you within 24-48 hours.

Adoption days are held Saturday at Petco at I-45 and Cypresswood Drive, Spring, TX between 1 - 4 and Sunday at Petco at I-45 and Loop 336 North, Conroe, TX 1 - 4. Please email us at AARF@Embarqmail.com by Thursday evening to let us know if you would like to meet a specific dog. We are not able to have every dog present every adoption day.
