Junior was found wandering around Cut-N-Shoot Texas with another larger dog. Finder tried to locate an owner, but not successful.

Junior doesnt bark he squeaks. His sneeze is a squeak. If you pick him up to cuddle him, he makes little squeaky noises. He likes to be groomed. He shows his appreciation by rolling on your feet and rubbing his face on your toes,  almost kitty-like.

He gets along with everyone, men, women, children and other dogs. We dont know how he is with cats because we dont have one. He likes to sleep in his little bed next to the big bed, although he will nap in the big bed.

He's great at holding his business all night long until i let him out in the morning. Junior did test HW positive and just started round two of slow kill on Feb. 8, 2016. He needs to take a pill twice a day for 30 days. He likes to hoard dirty laundry. If you leave your socks on the floor they will end up in his toy pile. He gives tiny kisses sparingly. He wont slobber on you. He takes treats very gently from your hand. On a scale of 1-10 Junior is most definately a 10. And he weighs 16.4 pounds.

Please contact  app@aarfhouston.org  for more information about this dog. You can apply online by clicking on Application . Once your application is approved, we will schedule a meet and greet at one of our adoption events. Thank you for considering a rescue!

More about Junior

Good with Dogs, Good with Kids, Requires a yard

The adoption fee includes vaccinations, Bordetella, de-worming, rabies, spay/neuter and microchip. There is a an additional $12.99 fee for Home Again for a lifetime registration of the microchip.

Puppies cannot be adopted outside of the Houston area until they are spay/neutered after they are 4 months old.

It is against the law in the State of Texas for a rescue not to be sterilized so we have to make sure it gets completed and that we have record of it.

NOTE: In our bios, we provide information based on our volunteer's experience with a particular dog; such as temperament, training, and ability to get along with others.

AARF is a 501(c)3 Non Profit, all breed, no kill organization. Our group is always in need of donations in order to continue to give the needed medical care to our rescues. Adoption fees do not begin to cover all of the medical costs. Any donation , no matter how small is a big help and is greatly appreciated. Please help us to continue to help them. Thank you.
