Rain is a playful, affectionate puppy who loves all people, dogs, and cats, as long as he can play and cuddle up next to them. Rain is the best of both worlds! Puppy energy mixed with the calm love of an older dog! In between his spurts of energy he loves to curl up with his human for some love and attention. Rain is great with dogs and cats, but he especially loves large dogs who he can run and wrestle around with. He loves all toys but especially enjoys rubber toys he can chew on. He'll drag it around, chew on it, and play tug-of-war with it! Rain is great at dog parks where he loves to play fetch with humans as well as other dogs. Rain is great and very well behaved in all public places, and loves to nap on car rides. Rain definitely understands commands and the word no, and his obedience is getting better every day! Rain is crate trained and is used to being in his kennel for long days while im at work, so hes a great dog even for those who work 10-12 hour days! Overall, Rain is a great puppy who is the perfect blend of energy and affection! Pictures truly don't do his adorable personality justice, so come meet him and you'll fall in love!

Puppies cannot be adopted outside of the Houston area until they are spay/neutered after they are 4 months old.

It is against the law in the State of Texas for a rescue not to be sterilized so we have to make sure it gets completed and that we have record of it.

NOTE: In our bios, we provide information based on our volunteer's experience with a particular dog; such as temperament, training, and ability to get along with others.

AARF is a 501(c)3 Non Profit, all breed, no kill organization. Our group is always in need of donations in order to continue to give the needed medical care to our rescues. Adoption fees do not begin to cover all of the medical costs. Any donation , no matter how small is a big help and is greatly appreciated. Please help us to continue to help them. Thank you.
