Hey! Over here, I've got eyes only for you!

8/30-I have been fostering Amaya for a few weeks. She is very affectionate and follows    me everywhere.  She does like to be the center of my affection! Amaya does great on the  leash. She stays by my side, cautiously enjoying the sights. I do crate her when Im not home but she likes to snuggle at night. I think the perfect home would be minimal pets so she could receive the love she craves. A home with time, love and structure will make Amaya the perfect addition!

Amaya is the sweetest girl.  Coming off the street and being ready to deliver pups she could have tried to shelter herself away from us but instead she relished all the attention, love and warmth we could offer her.  She gets along great with our small dogs, has taken great care of her 9 puppies and will be a super family dog.  Please make room in your home for her.

Amaya was found in Melrose Park - about to give birth.   She was caught and immediately taken to a foster home waiting for delivery.

Now that all of her furbabies were delivered, and most have found their furever families, Amaya is looking to settle in to her very own home! She is very docile, very gentle, and as her foster mom, the only thing I can complain about is that she barks at thunder like a goofball.  She loves to snuggle, lay around watching tv, and give kisses.  If you're the type that loves to take your dog swimming, no need to apply! Amaya is NOT a fan of going in water past her ankles.  She can swim, but she doesn't enjoy it very much.   If you have a pool, and you don't want your dog in it, Amaya is the PERFECT choice!

The adoption fee includes vaccinations, Bordetella, de-worming, rabies, spay/neuter and microchip. There is a an additional $12.99 fee for Home Again for a lifetime registration of the microchip.

Puppies cannot be adopted outside of the Houston area until they are spay/neutered after they are 4 months old.

It is against the law in the State of Texas for a rescue not to be sterilized so we have to make sure it gets completed and that we have record of it.

NOTE: In our bios, we provide information based on our volunteer's experience with a particular dog; such as temperament, training, and ability to get along with others.

AARF is a 501(c)3 Non Profit, all breed, no kill organization. Our group is always in need of donations in order to continue to give the needed medical care to our rescues. Adoption fees do not begin to cover all of the medical costs. Any donation , no matter how small is a big help and is greatly appreciated. Please help us to continue to help them. Thank you.
