My name is Quentin, and I am looking for someone special to take me as a family member. I am a very sweet, with a goofy and playful personality. I am strong yet gentle, and very affectionate. I am young,  full of energy and have an  strong and athletic body. I like walks and outdoors/indoor activities to keep me healthy and handsome. I am a good walking or jogging partner. Let’s have a meet and greet date, and you will want to make me your furever friend. Check out my recent photos. I have come a long way from my sad beginning. I am happy and ready for a new life with you!!!

Quentin was just rescued from an abusive situation. Quentin is currently in boarding because we do not have a foster for him. The vet where he is being boarded says he is a really good boy and loves getting attention.

Please contact Norma at 713-854-1216 for more information about this dog or to schedule a meet and greet. You can apply online at www.aarfhouston.org/forms  . Once your application is approved, we will schedule a meet and greet at one of our adoption events. Thank you for considering a rescue!

If you are not sure about making a lifetime commitment to Quentin, how about fostering him. He is stuck in boarding because we do not have a foster available. Normally we would not take in a dog without a foster but we could not leave him there to be tortured, beaten and burned. You could even start out as a temporary foster for 2 weeks. If it works out, great you can continue to foster. If it does not work out, you have at least given him 2 weeks out of the vets office with all of the smells, noise, confusion and other animals crying in pain. To foster Quentin, please complete our foster application at www.aarfhouston.org/forms.

More about Quentin

Good with Dogs, Good with Adults, Does not require a yard, Likes to be in your lap, Obedient, Affectionate, Eager To Please, Intelligent, Even-tempered, Gentle

The adoption fee includes vaccinations, Bordetella, de-worming, rabies, spay/neuter and microchip. There is a an additional $12.99 fee for Home Again for a lifetime registration of the microchip.

Puppies cannot be adopted outside of the Houston area until they are spay/neutered after they are 4 months old.

It is against the law in the State of Texas for a rescue not to be sterilized so we have to make sure it gets completed and that we have record of it.

NOTE: In our bios, we provide information based on our volunteer's experience with a particular dog; such as temperament, training, and ability to get along with others.

AARF is a 501(c)3 Non Profit, all breed, no kill organization. Our group is always in need of donations in order to continue to give the needed medical care to our rescues. Adoption fees do not begin to cover all of the medical costs. Any donation , no matter how small is a big help and is greatly appreciated. Please help us to continue to help them. Thank you.
