Lancelot was adopted over a month ago and is finally with a family who loves him!

Howdy, my name is Lancelot. I was abandoned at birth with my 8 siblings. I was brought to a foster home with 2 of my sisters where I was bottle fed. My foster sister(Boston Terrier) became my momma and gave me all the extra love I needed. I also grew up with large dogs, cats, and tiny humans. I especially like the tiny humans because they drop a lot of snacks. I have been perfecting my vacuum skills. As he has gotten older he has started to look more like a boxer mix and very much has a boxer personality.

My foster momma is working hard to teach me to be a good boy but I am still a puppy. I have the occasionally accident and I love to chew on anything plastic! I listen when I am told no but I do forget sometimes. I talk a lot in my kennel too. I just want to get out and play but my foster momma says I need to take a nap.

I need a family that has some basic training experience. I love to please but I am a little stubborn and just need a family who will be patient with me while I continue learning. I also need an active family because I love a lot of energy. I would be the perfect dog to take for a run, hike, dog park, or anything else outdoors.

I am ready for a family of my very own! If you are interested in meeting me please contact the rescue or come to an adoption event because I am always there!

Note from his foster momma:
Lancelot is a wonderful boy. He is so smart and always ready to please.   He enjoys going to the park with his foster family. He has improved his training in the past few months and is catching on to new commands very quickly.

RESCUE REQUIREMENT for adoption:

Puppies cannot be adopted outside of the Houston area until they are spay/neutered after they are 4 months old.

It is against the law in the State of Texas for a rescue not to be sterilized so we have to make sure it gets completed and that we have record of it.

NOTE: In our bios, we provide information based on our volunteer's experience with a particular dog; such as temperament, training, and ability to get along with others.

AARF is a 501(c)3 Non Profit, all breed, no kill organization. Our group is always in need of donations in order to continue to give the needed medical care to our rescues. Adoption fees do not begin to cover all of the medical costs. Any donation , no matter how small is a big help and is greatly appreciated. Please help us to continue to help them. Thank you.
