Stella is such a cutie but she is still a timid little pup. She is going to need someone with a lot of patience. She is very unsure of new people so it will probably take more than one or two meet and greets for her to get to know you. She, and her brother Sparten, are parvo survivors which is awesome. She will need to go to a home with another dog as she bonds better with another dog. She is bonded with her brother, someone she can run around the yard and run off some of her energy. She will also need a home with a yard. She loves to run around in the backyard. If she can't go outside to play they will run up and down the stairs to run their energy off. She does love to give kisses and she will sit in your lap for short periods of time (until something else catches her eye and she needs to go see what it is). We are working on socialization and potty training right now. She is crate trained and know how to sit and shake hands. With proper introduction she gets along with other dogs. It is also recommended she go to a family with kids 10 years old or older. She jumps a lot and even though she is small to medium in size she can still knock you over if you are not paying attention.

AARF is a 501(c)3 Non Profit, all breed, no kill organization. Our group is always in need of donations in order to continue to give the needed medical care to our rescues. Adoption fees do not begin to cover all of the medical costs. Any donation, no matter how small is a big help and is greatly appreciated. Please help us to continue to help them. Thank you.
