Looking for a hero! Sadie Mae here! I'm a sweet little girl who is patiently searching for my forever family. My foster mommy scooped me up and brought me home after I was dropped off at a shelter when I was just a baby. She says I'm almost 3 months old and thinks I may be a small shepherd mix.  I've made a lot of progress recently and now I'm brave enough to sleep in my puppy pen when needed but I do prefer to sleep in the bed with my boy or foster parents. I've almost mastered my potty training skills and I've learned to use a doggy door. I'm still working on my other house manners but I'm getting better everyday.  My foster mom says I have a great personality and I tend to be vocal when I want to play or I need something. Not in a bad way though.  I'm looking for my furever home and will need a family who will love me unconditionally and who will have the patience in helping me continue to learn my house manners and other cool things. Can you pwease be my hero? 

**At this time, Sadie does well being confined in a puppy pen/rounder when not being supervised and sometimes at night. She has not yet been crated but should do ok.  She usually sleeps all night and  does well sleeping with her humans. She recently took a long day trip and did great in the vehicle. She travels well, walks well on a leash and loves to explore her environment. Sadie is good with kids of all ages and other dogs. She has THE CUTEST/FUNNIEST personality. She loves throwing toys in the air and then catching them. She can be clumsy at times and has earned the nickname " The Goat". Sadie is going to be an excellent companion for some lucky family or person.

The adoption fee includes vaccinations, Bordetella, de-worming, rabies, spay/neuter and microchip. There is a an additional $12.99 fee for Home Again for a lifetime registration of the microchip.

Puppies cannot be adopted outside of the Houston area until they are spay/neutered after they are 4 months old.

It is against the law in the State of Texas for a rescue not to be sterilized so we have to make sure it gets completed and that we have record of it.

NOTE: In our bios, we provide information based on our volunteer's experience with a particular dog; such as temperament, training, and ability to get along with others.
