Baxter is a very special boy.   He has been diagnosed with Anorexia.  He has been to several specialists, and undergone extensive testing.  He has gone from nibbling throughout the day to sustain his weight to eating 1 cup of food a day! Baxter is a happy and healthy boy.  He likes dogs of all sizes and loves to spend most of his time in his crate or on the laps of his foster parents. He loves blankets and hoards deer antlers in his crate!  doesnt chew them but likes to have them close by :-).        Baxter loves to cuddle and is a great companion dog. Baxter is now enjoying the occasional rawhide and bones. He LOVES to nap against his super big german shepherd foster brother. Baxter loves chicken strips (Costco only). It's the only time he runs around the house out of excitement :-).

His perfect family will be one wno can dedicate him time, and a loving, low energy family.   Someone that just wants a cuddle bug will be his  ideal situation. He loves to sleep in big comfy dog beds and human beds. He loves people all ages.
Children should be mature, considerate of small animals.
